Slicing suggestions: Before starting, you need to cut off the external crust, bearing in mind approximately how much ham you want to cut, so that the rest of the ham isn’t exposed to the air. Start by making a sharp cut, perpendicular to the ham. Now make parallel cuts leaving a flat surface. The slices must be extremely thin and it is recommended that you present them on a plate in just one layer, in order to prevent the slices from sticking to one another. The meat near the bones, which can’t be sliced, is excellent for adding to a wide range of dishes or eating in dices. You should cut the narrower side of the ham first. Once you finish the narrower side of the ham, turn it over and begin to cut the other side.
